Heading into the winter holiday season, we have a lot to celebrate at PRC. In only a few weeks, we will award diplomas to the first graduates of our distinguished Diploma of Phytotherapy program. These graduates will soon be beginning their own practices of Western Herbal Medicine.
In the beginning of January, PRC turns 5 years old. In the past 5 years the college has grown from 3,500 square feet to 10,000, and our student enrolment has grown from 3 full-time students to over 200.
The new year marks the beginning of our Diploma of Yogatherapy program, the only college-level yogatherapy diploma program in Canada. It also is the beginning of what may be our busiest and most decorated year for natural health workshops. Some of the most recognized teachers in the world are scheduled to travel from places as far away as Australia and England to present topics such as Veterinary Acupuncture, Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, and Western Herbal Medicine.
We will also soon be announcing the launch of 2 new and exciting programs at PRC. As with so many of our diploma programs, our newest diploma program will provide the most comprehensive education in its field in Canada, and the certificate program will introduce people to concepts, topics and philosophies that have the potential to change lives.

Traditional Thai Massage Program returns
The Traditional Thai Massage program is 4-month certificate program that introduces students to the philosophies, therapeutic principles and techniques of Thai
Massage. Thai Massage forms the "energy medicine" component of the unique healing system of Traditional Thai Medicine - a holistic approach to health that addresses
the body (through diet and herbs), psychospirituality (through practices such as meditation) and the flow and balance of vital energy in the energetic systems. During
a Thai massage, the practitioner guides the recipient into various postures linked together in a flowing series, applying acupressure with hands and feet, arms and
legs. Over the years, Thai Medicine and Massage have adopted and incorporated influences from Indian Ayurveda and yoga practices, as well as Chinese healing arts.
