Based in Portland, Oregon, Working Class Acupuncture has the mission of using acupuncture to create social change in health care by providing, and advocating for others to provide, accessible acupuncture for working class patients. WCA also provides technical assistance to acupuncturists who want to make their practices accessible to patients who don%u2019t have insurance. This is not about free clinics, alcohol and drug treatment, or becoming a social service agency. It iss a low-cost, high-volume business strategy designed to make health care affordable.

Chinese Medicine Tools, which features TCM Radio, is a place that connects people with the TCM global community. Everyone can join this unique free online experience to help nourish the growth of their own practice and TCM as a whole.

The Global Outreach Program at PRC is pleased to partner with the PanAfrican Acupuncture Project (PAAP), a non-profit organization that trains African healthcare workers to employ simple yet effective acupuncture techniques in order to treat the debilitating symptoms of endemic conditions such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Since 2003 PAAP has trained 120 healthcare practitioners who have returned to their respective medical centres to collectively provide thousands of treatments.
