TCM-Social Forum

The TCM-Social Forum (Sozialforum) offers a platform for various global relief projects that employ acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the clinical setting to help impoverished and underprivileged people.

Working Class Acupuncture

Based in Portland, Oregon, Working Class Acupuncture has the mission of using acupuncture to create social change in health care by providing, and advocating for others to provide, accessible acupuncture for working class patients. WCA also provides technical assistance to acupuncturists who want to make their practices accessible to patients who don%u2019t have insurance. This is not about free clinics, alcohol and drug treatment, or becoming a social service agency. It iss a low-cost, high-volume business strategy designed to make health care affordable.

Chinese Medicine Tools

Chinese Medicine Tools, which features TCM Radio, is a place that connects people with the TCM global community. Everyone can join this unique free online experience to help nourish the growth of their own practice and TCM as a whole.

PanAfrican Acupuncture Project

The Global Outreach Program at PRC is pleased to partner with the PanAfrican Acupuncture Project (PAAP), a non-profit organization that trains African healthcare workers to employ simple yet effective acupuncture techniques in order to treat the debilitating symptoms of endemic conditions such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Since 2003 PAAP has trained 120 healthcare practitioners who have returned to their respective medical centres to collectively provide thousands of treatments.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of British Columbia

The Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of British Columbia exists for practitioners of TCM with the goal of supporting our members in the spirit of open-communication and cooperation. Support comes in the form of presentation, education and increased public awareness to create a unified, successful and healthy TCM practitioner community.

Hands Across Borders Society

Hands Across Borders Society is a not-for-profit organization in Victoria, British Columbia. Its main priority is to provide health and education services to communities in need within the developing world. To date, HABS has made extensive contributions to Guatemala, Sri Lanka and Zanzibar.

Runners of Compassion

Runners of Compassion is a non-profit society whose members participate as a group in fundraising and volunteer activities, in order to provide support to a variety of charitable causes, organizations and non-traditional groups.

First Peoples' Cultural Foundation

First Peoples' Cultural Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable public organization that generates support to raise awareness and funding for Aboriginal Language revitalization. The Foundation works with its sister organization, the First Peoples' Heritage, Language and Culture Council to ensure fair and equal access for all funds raised and to all programs available.

Fine Point Acupuncture

Fine Point Acupuncture is the Canadian acupuncture recruiter for one of the world's largest spa groups, Steiner Leisure of the UK.
